Weekend Away

We had our "anniversary" getaway for part of this weekend.  It was fun to be out and about and enjoying the simple and elegant beauty we found about us.  The boys don't lend themselves to beautiful and reflective admiration...so it was enjoyable to just walk in silence and point out items of interest and inspiration. Thanks Mom and Dad for watching the guys.  We appreciate you.

We admire your roofing choice and the way you intermingled it with both modern and vintage architectural features.

We went to a tea room in Minneapolis.  It was lovely, but it was also a place in which the boys would not have done well.  We made it through all four courses without any spills or bathroom trips.  Isn't that glorious?

We finished out the evening tonight with a homestudy update with our social worker.  She hadn't inspected our current house or met Creedence.  (It's been a while.)  And now we can breathe and enjoy the rest of the weekend as a family.
